FRCR Teaching Programme

There is an established FRCR teaching programme delivered by the South Wales Radiology Scheme and consultant radiologist trainers and medical physicists will make use of the excellent Academy facilities including lecture theatre, seminar rooms, workstation classrooms and Mac suite. The programmes of teaching are 6-12 months in duration and are tailored to gaining core knowledge and to complete the FRCR examinations. The teaching programs are delivered on different days:

  • ST1 FRCR Part 1 Anatomy & Physics programmes Thursday all day
  • ST2-3 FRCR Part 2a programme Tuesday am
  • ST3-4 FRCR Part 2b programme Wednesday pm

The programme includes revision tutorials, mock examinations and private study in preparation for the FRCR examinations. Trainees will receive dedicated FRCR Academy radiologists with expertise in all elements of the FRCR examination.
