South Wales Valleys

Offering a taste of Wales’ rich, industrial heritage, the Valleys play host to many museums and castles that are on the doorstep.

If you’re an active type, try your hand at the Taff Trail – running from Cardiff to Brecon it is one of the best-known routes in the area. Perfect for walking, running and cycling the trail takes in some of Wales’ most historic sites.

Getting around South Wales from the Valleys is easy. The area has a great train and bus network meaning reaching cities including Cardiff, Newport and Swansea is quick and easy to do. The area is served by an accessible road network and the A470 and M4 is not far away.
