BSGAR Travelling Professor Study Day

National Imaging Academy Wales is pleased to host Dr Anthony Higginson and Dr Nigel Grunshaw as part of the Travelling Professor Scheme.
Funded by the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) and in collaboration with British Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (BSGAR), the scheme aims to highlight Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology, promoting acquisition best practices and reporting techniques while also fostering specialist interest in GI Radiology as a future career option. During the study day, attending trainees and clinicians are invited to explore this exciting speciality through didactic sessions, a live demonstration and patient scanning.
BSGAR is currently supporting Dr Anthony Higginson and Dr Nigel Grunshaw, whose previous workshops were cancelled due to COVID-19. They are both experts in bowel ultrasound, an area of expertise that is not currently as widely taught or practiced as other diagnostic imaging specialities in Wales.
