According to a recent survey, Cardiff’s residents are some of the happiest and most satisfied in Europe and that’s down to the environment, green spaces, cleanliness and social activity of offer.

Cardiff, the capital of Wales and its largest city, has been reinvented over the past 20 years through sustained investment, with a focus on sporting, cultural and leisure infrastructure. It has a distinctive character that offers residents and visitors alike an excellent quality of life.

It’s is a great city if you love nature, with more green space per person than any core UK city. With its multitude of parks including Bute Park and Roath Park, mountains to the north and coast to the south, Cardiff is easy to get around.

The city itself, with its dominant castle, is a hub for shopping with St David’s shopping centre, The Hayes and the Victorian and Edwardian Arcades to choose from. With so many great independent shops, cafes, bars and brands based in the city, you won’t be short of things to do and places to see.

The city offers many national cultural and sporting venues including the National Museum of Wales, the Wales Millennium Centre and the Principality Stadium. Whilst home to the Welsh Assembly, Cardiff Bay offers people waterfront living.

Cardiff is a very accessible city with good road, rail and air connections. London can be reached by train in just over two hours, whilst Cardiff International Airport is located just outside the city and Bristol Airport is under an hour away.
